What is Groupon Shopping?
Groupon Shopping features great deals on products of all kinds, ranging from the practical to quirky and innovative. New deals are featured daily and sent directly to your inbox, while net-savvy surfers can unearth products under the ‘Shopping’ tab on www.groupon.my.
When do I need to redeem my Groupon?
Each deal on Groupon includes a redemption period. This is the time within which customers must complete their product order or risk locking them up in cold storage forever.
What should I do after purchasing my Groupon voucher? Do I just wait for the product to be delivered?
Refer to the ‘How it Works’ section of the Fine Print on the deal page and follow the instructions listed. There are different methods to redeem your product. Some might require you to fill in the delivery address during the checkout process, some might require you to fill in a different form or email the merchant instead. So referring and following the 'How it Works' is important in making sure that the product reaches your doorstep.
What is the difference between pick-up and delivery?
Some deals provide purchasing options for pick-up or delivery, allowing customers to blur the lines between convenience and laziness. The pick-up option requires customers to pick-up their products from a physical place, either at the merchant store or at the Groupon office (refer to the deal’s Fine Print for details). Deals with delivery will deliver your deliveries to your doorstep.
I bought a Groupon voucher with a pick-up option. Can I change it to delivery and vice-versa?
Changes are not encouraged once you have keyed in your desired option, as it may cause your product to arrive late since logistic arrangements have been made earlier. However, you can always contact the team to check whether there are any possibilities for a change if absolutely necessary.
What do the different delivery terms mean?
- Nationwide Delivery Included: Delivery costs are included in the Groupon voucher purchased.
- Free Nationwide Delivery: Cost of delivery is not factored into the price and is in fact, free.
- Nationwide Delivery Available: Delivery may be available at a surcharge.
- Delivery to Peninsular Malaysia: Delivery is available to Peninsular Malaysia ONLY.
The options offered will vary among deals.
When will my products arrive?
Delivery typically takes 14 working days from delivery start date, unless stated otherwise in the Fine Print of that deal. Kindly ensure that the product has been redeemed by following the instructions in the Fine Print, or the product may be unable to reach your doorstep within the promised timeline.
Are products covered by warranty?
The products sold on Groupon are sold as described on the deal page. To claim a manufacturer’s warranty, please contact the merchant of the deal. Merchant contact information for every deal is located on the side bar below the Fine Print.
What if I receive a defective product?
Defective products are handled on a case-by-case basis. Customers can opt to send in photos of their defective product to Groupon or the partnering merchant, and will thereafter be advised. Products with manufacturing defects will either be replaced or refunded.
In the event that a product displays defects within the warranty period, customers can contact the partnering merchant.
What if my products have not arrived?
Firstly, please check the delivery deadline in the fine print of your voucher. If the deadline has not passed, your product should be delivered within the allocated time. However, if the delivery deadline has been and gone and you haven't received your product, please contact the merchant to enquire about when your item will be delivered.The merchant's contact details can be found on your voucher.
Changing delivery address
To change your delivery address, you need to contact the merchant who will be redeeming your voucher (or Groupon, if we are responsible for delivery) as soon as possible to avoid your product being delivered to the incorrect address. Contact details of the merchant can be found printed on your Groupon.
Who delivers my products?
Products are either delivered by that specific merchants or by Groupon. Deliveries by merchants will have a logo while deliveries by Groupon will have a logo above the merchant's detail on the deal page.
Whom do I contact with questions and concerns about my Groupon order?
Deal enquiries and product orders can be directed towards our Customer Management team. Customers with questions about the product can contact the merchant directly, with details provided in the deal’s Fine Print.
